About Tukituki Land Care
Tukituki Land Care (TLC) has been formed to act as an overarching collective for farmers and catchment groups within the Tukituki Catchment, Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand.

TLC operates as a collective, providing leadership, governance, and administration to link together individual landowners and communities organised within sub-catchment groups.

TLC provides leadership to accelerate the adoption of on farm practices and systems to improve water quality and enhance the environment. Acting as a voice of the land, TLC is protecting the precious Taonga of the Tukituki catchment, the Tukituki River.

The TLC goal is to facilitate support for the delivery of information, knowledge, and good management practices to farmers/landowners through their catchment group. To provide a voice for the land, through a collaborative approach to working with HBRC and other industry in developing resources and directing focus to the areas of highest needs for the best outcomes in the catchment. A cohesive voice for the land will increase the quality of engagement by local and central government with farmers/landowners in the catchment.
