  • Life long resident of Central Hawkes Bay, farm 80ha in Ashley Clinton. 
     

  • Currently employed by Ravensdown as Principal Consultant-Environmental, managing
    North Island
    staff and completing Farm Environmental Plans (FEPs), Nutrient Budgets and
    Resource Consents for variety of farm systems.

     

  • Also sub contract to B+LNZ running workshops relating to FEPs and Greenhouse Gas and involved in national project (funded by MPI) reporting on sheep and beef farmers’ financial performance and environmental footprint.
     

  • Eight years’ experience with the Tukituki Plan Change, initially as a Senior Land Management Advisor at HBRC involved with initial implementation, and then in current role assisting farmers to meet their regulatory requirements.
     

  • Chairman of the Tukipo Catchment Care Group, who are approx. 1.5 years into a 4 year, $2.2 million MfE funded Freshwater Improvement Fund project targeting riparian planting, waterway retirement and wetland construction. Catchment Group were winners of Ballance Farm Environmental Awards East Coast/Hawkes Bay 2022.
     

  • Senior Fire Fighter in Ashley Clinton volunteer fire brigade and member of Biodiversity Hawkes Bay.
     

  • Strategy Stewardship Group.
